第六十章
治大国若烹小鲜。以道莅天下，其鬼不神；非其鬼不神，其神不伤人；非其神不伤人，圣人亦不伤人。夫两不相伤，故德交归焉。
译文：
治理大国要像烹煮小鱼一样小火不要过多翻搅，以无为而治。能够以无为展现在天下各国之间，那鬼魂不会作乱，神灵也不降罚世人，圣人也不会随意处置百姓。灵界与人间互不相害，依循天德安详修道。
注释：
本章是延续前两章君王之治，提出法天道则神鬼不欺。
